Fair product for the price don't stock up on cartridges.

Summary: This printer scanner is an OK product. I have HP printers and scanners for all my equipment. I bought this used one because I just bought new cartridges and mine broke. My complaint on HP is they keep changing the cartridge for each new printer. And the printers are not made to last ether.
Summary: This looks like a very nice printer, but we bought it to go with a new HP computer we just bought which is running Windows 7. It appears that there are no drivers available for Windows 7 (just XP and Vista).
Summary: I've never had a bad thing to say about HP printers; they've always been reliable and long lived. I've had the 660, 697, 5150, Photosmart P1000 to date. I love my Photosmart P1000, but it occasionally acts up, which it's entitled to, considering I've had it for years, but the 4x6 tray feed doesn't...
Summary: I purchased this HP Photosmart C5280 as a replacement after wearing out 2 Epson Photo Stylus printers. Both Epson printers had CD/DVD printing capabilities and a fairly effective CD/DVD software program for creating custom designs.
Summary: I bought this printer to make CD labels. The CD software doesn't seem to work with a MAC. I have asked HP for help, but have not received any response. Other than that the printer, scanner, copier works well.
Summary: I bought this as a replacement for an HP 885 that I used for 8 years. I had 0 problems with that printer. There seeem to be many software conflicts with this one and I have had to erase and reload the software twice to get it to work properly. It is an ink hog.
Summary: All in all, this is a fantastic deal for a printer. The only thing lacking is network connect or wi-fi, but at such a low price, you can't ask for much more. Or maybe you can... I am stunned by how lousy HP's software is: hundreds of megabytes of software, and this particular printer does not come...
A great printer if you don't want it for heavy use

Excerpt: I bought this printer about 2 years ago, as our previous HP printer we had owned for about 8 years decided it no longer wanted to print on a straight line (even the "align printer" options failed to work!).
