Summary: WORST printer ever! Keeps giving cartridge errors even with new HP cartridges. I've cleaned and done all steps suggested by HP and the manual. DO NOT EVER BUY this printer. Sometimes it shifts into error codes, then a reboot/restart fixes things for a while...then back to useless.
Summary: Stops printing for no reason, stupid errors in windows 7/8. My 3 in 1 has become merely a scanner now. I swear I'd write my name in reverse order, if I purchased any HP product in the rest of my life.
Constant error message: Refer to print documentation
Life Traveler, Amazon
12 September 2013
Summary: At first I liked the printer, but it won't work and Hewlett Packard won't fix it, they say the warranty has expired. There is a constant error message that says Print Cartridges: Refer to Print Documentation. It is frozen and refuses to work. It is not possible to "refer to print documentation".
Summary: This is perhaps the worst printer I have ever owned. Stops printing for no reason, poor color balance on photo prints and the ridiculously expensive ink cartridges dry up with minimal use. Oh, and it's hard as all heck to get refills to work.
Summary: I don't care what you buy, but run away from this printer! Won't print 4 X 6 photos because it simply will NOT feed the paper!! Oh, if you're lucky, it may actually feed ONE sheet after maybe fifty tries or more.
Summary: This printer worked alright for a couple of years, now it seems like I'm troubleshooting every time I want to print anything. Even for this price, there are much better options; pass on this one.
Summary: I bought the C5280 HP all in one printer a few years back, even though most friends have told me to stay away from HP products. I bought it with my iMac which was running Leopard. printer worked great (a little noisy but quiter than my old printer) I loved the printing on DVD's.
