Recommend to potential buyers: yes Full review I received this item as a gift. I have a small business that requires clear photos. Often there is a need for scanning. Black and white photos. Color photos. My expectations were exceeded after using this product for less than a week. Easy to follow step by step directions. Clear photos in color and black and white. A great product to have for any home office. I am also NOT very computer savvy. This HP Photosmart C5280 Al... Read more

This printer so easy to use. I scans a preview and you can edit and save . It can be used from the desktop or from the printer itself. I love it. I have scanned hundreds of photos and documents with wonderful results. When I first bought this printer I thought it looked a little primitive, with the bland color of the unit , but dont let that fool you. Its a a great all in one printer! Read more

I recently upgraded to Windows Vista, and my scanner does not have an available driver for Vista. I decided it would be nice to have an all-in-one device as that would reduce the clutter in the den. My old printer is an Epson 880 -- like most Epsons it tends to get clogged print heads with the resulting high cost for ink. The HP C5280 offers two sizes of cartridges, one for lower use (such as my case) and a larger size for heavier use. This printer is one of the few t... Read more
