Best linux purchase ever

Summary: Wish you could override the amount of ink HP thinks are in it's cartridges.
Pros: This has been by far my best purchase for my linux computing household. Just install the hplip-gui packages in Ubuntu, then fire up the hplip-toolbox to configure the printer. My printer is on the network, and hplip was able to detect and configure itself properly. Everything just works, printing...
Cons: Windows wasn't as clean of an install, but it still worked on most machines.
Summary: Comments about HP Photosmart C5180 Multifunction Printer: You may think that will be a headache, but HP made it so seamless, plus each ink cartridge is cheap. This actually helps waste less ink compared to other inkjets with 4 cartridges.
Summary: Comments about HP Photosmart C5180 Multifunction Printer: This printer is awesome. I had doubts about purchasing it, but those quickly went away after I started playing with it. It is very fast, very high quality, and not loud at all. I would definitely recommend this printer to a friend.
Pros: Compact Design, Durable Construction, Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Fast Operation, Reliable
Summary: This is the best All-in-One you can get for the price. I've tried most of the functions and they work great with Vista Home Premium. Would be nice if I could print straight from my mobile phone, but I'm not sure there is a printer out there that can.
Pros: Push button copy. No need for a computer if you don't want to use it. Scans wonderfully (even in Vista) Beautiful Color prints. Ethernet port allows you to print from anywhere through an 802.11 based router or access point.
Summary: Of course, always impressed with NewEgg's consistency in shipping and customer service. They're like Ferris Bueller; they can't do any wrong.
Pros: The printer produces extraordinary output. I have tested the quality of color copies, photo prints, and scans and have been very surprised at the high quality of the prints. The photos are particularly pleasing. Especially on HP's photo paper. The printer is quiet and very fast, even when pinting...
Cons: We've had this printer less than a week and somehow my wife's computer completely lost all memory of even having it installed on her computer. I'm not sure if that's an issue with the printer or with Windows Vista.
Summary: I would recommend this to anyone, period. And HP has some ink cartridge kits out now with all 5 cartridges and a bundle of photo paper for really cheap.
Pros: NO issues whatsoever with setup. XP installed it just fine and everything worked right out of the box. Loads faster than my barely used 3 year old multifunction. Great price too, especially for a network ready printer. Worked nearly flawless over my LAN on 3 different PCs. I did have to reset the...
