Photosmart C4780 Printer/Scanner/Copier – Review

15 December 2013
  • Excerpt: Most consumers won’t do a thorough evaluation of every aspect of their multifunction inkjet printer (MFP). If the darn thing prints reliably, makes a decent scan, and copies documents without too much fuss, people will be more concerned about the eventual cost of replacement ink than the details of software and hardware associated with a modern sophisticated device. HP developed this printer for home users to accomplish everyday printing needs.

HP Photosmart C4780 review

9 September 2009
  • Conclusion: Now that I’ve reviewed the Photosmart C4780, I can say with confidence that it would be a great companion for any student.  It’s wireless, compact and good-looking; it is also functional and relatively cheap.  Yes, the print speeds were slower than advertised and the text could have been sharper but the fact that C4780 will keep printing even after a cartridge expires is a huge plus for any student on a deadline.
  • Pros: Compact, good-looking design, TouchSmart Panel, Good price for AIO
  • Cons: Slow print speeds, Print quality sharpness

HP Photosmart C4780 all-in-one printer

Pocket Lint
22 September 2009
  • Conclusion: It's clear from out tests and living with the C4780 that it's a "I've got a printer for the odd print" kind of printer rather than aimed at someone who still believes in paper. The standard document printing is good enough for the odd letter, homework, or document you want to reference and the photo element will be good enough to share prints but not really to frame.
  • Pros: Cheap, once set-up easy to run, works with iPrint iPhone app
  • Cons: Have to hardwire connect it to set-up wireless, no paper catch tray, small LCD screen, memory card reader doesn't support Compact Flash
