Summary: Tech support said the Hardware had malfunctioned and there was no remedy. This family will not buy another HP Printer. Adam from tech support first told me they have nothing but problems with the Photosmart...then tried to sell me a new one! I was outside the warranty year.
Summary: The printer worked fine for less than one year. Then I got a blue screen on the LED screen with a code in it. Nothing worked. I called HP and they walked me through resetting it, unplugging everything, hitting the F6 button on bootup, etc. Unfortunately.
Summary: Nothing but problems so far with this machine -- the drivers are to blame I suspect. After every few prints I have to shut down and restart the printer or my computer. Even after clearing the jobs that won't print in the print que.
Summary: Printer prints great, easy to setup, except for all the annoying HP software they add on. I've been using the printer for a couple months, it was printing nice. Plenty ink left I don't print too often.
Summary: HP used to make great stuff. This printer just kind of died after about 6 months, and less than 200 sheets printed. Same as for the c4280. Terrible software, uses tons of ink, prevents you from using 3rd party cartridges. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
Summary: This printer is almost completely worthless. It jams all the time and forget about printing on envelopes. The ink is garbage and smears if you look at it wrong. It takes a long time to startup and shutdown and occasionally emits high-pitch electrical noise.
Summary: This printer has never worked properly. It displays the Out of Paper message no matter what type of paper is loaded into it. I tried the HP printer utility, which indicated the printer was working. This printer is not worth the money.
