Summary: I bought this printer because I already own one identical. It is convenient for me to buy the same ink for both. It works well with card stock and pretty good with photo paper. The one I bought was used but didn't appear to be mistreated.
Summary: Works great! Only flaw the pickup roller is sort of slick and sometimes you get "no paper" msg. The XL carts hold a lot of ink. We bought this used on eBay. The 5000 series has a lot better printed paper holder.
Summary: Only had the printer for a couple of weeks. Easily set up with USB, but haven't conquered the wireless set up. Since this was a remanufactured printer, no documentation/insturctions came with how to set up the wireless connection. Is fairly quiet, quick response for small printer and plenty of functionality for my needs. This is my 3rd HP printer and am quite content.
Summary: I purchased this new, but in an open box missing the initial ink cartridge, USB cable, and manual. I picked it because it has built-in wireless capabilities and because the ink cartridges were less expensive than those of other brands. A TIP: always price check ink cartridges before deciding on a printer, there's a reason that when you buy a computer they throw in a printer for free! It's worth less than the cartridges.
