Summary: without software, having problems with the printer accepting remanufactured ink cartridges. It is not recognizing the color ink cartridge that I also purchased on Ebay. When this cartridge is in the printer, it will not print anything at all.
Summary: I bought the HP Photosmart C4500 in store and liked it so much I decided to get one for my mom. However.... Installing it on a wireless network was difficult. The software was buggy. HP's help was not helpful. I gave up and had it working on one machine and allowed it to be accessed by the other machines on the network. That required the first machine to be on all the time to allow all the others to connect thru wi-fi.
Summary: Pros: Excellent photo printing, and text docs, and scanning. Cons: Does not print on 4x6 paper, even though it says it does. It just takes the paper in, pushes it too far forward & loses contact with it, and tells me that the paper tray is empty.
Summary: About half of the time, the printer just quits working. It has failed to recognize that I have replaced the ink cartridges and constantly tells me that the cartridges are empty when they aren't. After trying to use if to make copies, it worked once out of 10 attempts. The other 9 times, it just sits there blinking. I have used HP products for years but this printer has soured me on HP. I will think twice before considering another HP printer.

Summary: I just purchased an HP C4580 All In One printer for my wife. As indicated in one of the reviews, the installation software hung up the printer when I attempted to do a wireless scan. So, I restarted her computer (Windows XP) and clicked on the HP Solution Center icon, the Help Button, and finally the Update button. There were a number of updates to be downloaded. After their installation, every thing was, and is, fine.
Summary: Very problematic and temperamental wireless infrastructure connection - read plenty of blogs and it turns out that the only consistent way to have it working is on channel 1. A multitude of people have had issues with one thing or another and probably wouldn't have bought it had I known about this first, esp. since the wireless feature was the main reason I bought it.
Summary: I thought the price for a HP wireless colour printer is excellent. I don't these days have much time for fiddling about so I was hopeful that installation would be fast and simple, and pretty much, it was. The qulaity seems good and the functions are excellent. I have had a few experiences with it failing to start up when I send a document to print which has been frustrating.
Summary: Printer seems ok, much like many others. However, and I know its hopefully only a one off thing, the installation is a complete pain! Takes too long, waaaay too long! I know it may seem a small point, but the bloated software they insist on installing on your PC is disgusting! Bad HP developers, bad developers!
Summary: I received the product on time.Image is good quality and quick printing too.I did not use the wireless facilities yet so I can comment regarding this facility. Using the photo software is quite useful.
