HP C4180 PhotoPrinter is just OK

Excerpt: This is a review of the HP PhotoSmart C4180 All in One Printer. Although it does well printing and even copying, I installed it per the instructions and the cd that came with it. But every single time I start it up, my computer reconizes it as a new piece of hardware. I tried several times to find out what the problem is, and finally found out that there is a file missing. But again a problem finding out which one.
Buying this for the HP name is not worth the headache.

Excerpt: We purchased this printer in October. It was brand new in the store, and we trusted the HP name. We liked the sleek look and it seemed affordable. However, we could have purchased 2 more of these with the money we have spent on ink since then. In 7 months, I have replace the black ink 6 times. And we do not do a whole lot of printing! One cartridge is supposed to last for 200 pages, but I have found that they actually only last about half that.
Summary: I knew this was a refurbished copier, I was not aware that you were not going to send ink for this unit. I will not allow to finish setting up unless their is ink in the chamber. If this was clear that ink was not included I would not have purchase a refurbished unit I ended up paying the difference and I could have purchased a new printer.
