Summary: This is the worst HP printer that I have ever owned. I have had numerous problems with it including paper jams and printer lock ups . THe only reason that I bought it was because it was the only Photo quality printer that they made with a wired fax line.
Summary: The document feeder never really worked out of the box using HP paper. After awhile, the black ink refused to print, even after replacing multiple new cartridges. I checked on-line for this problem, and 100's of other customers have had the same problem over several years, and HP neither responds to their concerns, nor fixes this problem. I will never buy an HP printer again!
Summary: The picture quality is low. But that is minor to what I have been through. I have windows 7 home premium and tried 4 times to get this to install. First of all there are no instructions on how to load paper, photo tray, install cartridges. I managed to get that done with no help from HP. Then on to the installations. It had a failure the first time around after I had sat through the proscess of installing.
Summary: It jams too often for simple printing and doesn't always recognize new ink cartridges that are HP brand-argh...I've set up other AIO's that were much "smarter" than this one and it seems to be more challenging than some others to work with other computers. I've had 3 laptops and one iMac connected to this. Now it won't recognize the Mac no matter what I do and I'm replacing it. It has had some issues over time and frankly is cheap in my opinion.
Summary: The HPc410, although not available any more was the worst printer I ever owned. It took 3 minutes to boot up after going offline every other day which required a power off (that's un-plug the power from the back) to reset. The scanning of documents and pictures moves at a snails pace and there are no settings to prevent this.
Summary: Very nice printer. It has printed very well, scans duplex and prints duplex (big plus). Have not used the fax but all other functions are great. one word of caution, it is worth buying new ink with it because the ink doesn't last long.
