Summary: This printer is old and doesn't work as well as HP's newer model first of all. Also they have stopped making ink for it so if you decide to buy this low quality printer anyway because its cheap, better stock up on the cheap ink too. It drinks a lot of it,,,oh did I say cheap.
Summary: I purchased this because it had EVERY feature I had been looking for in a printer plus it was wireless (which we didn't have yet). I had to have a wireless printer with a flatbed scanner built-in and those were my deal-breakers.
Summary: Horrible printer. I've always been a HP die-hard customer. Although I read no so good reviews before I purchased it I did not believe an HP printer could be so bad. This printer although prints well does not work properly for all functions.
Summary: So far, so good. It's just like the original one that lasted about 3 years but I did print an awful lot of things on it. Don't know if wore it out or not, but am glad that I found another one just like the last one.
Summary: I totally dread about having to print anything these days. Two years into ownership of this piece of crap I have never had any good experience with it. The wireless connection does not work most of the time. Now even the printer shows as connected on my computer, yet it does not print.
Summary: I had a printer just like this before, and I loved it, so wanted another just like it. The price was much better than directly from HP. I have had no problem at all and will remember Amazon when I need the next one.
Summary: I purchased this printer as a gift for my parents who are retired and needed something to print documents infrequently. They used it twice only to realize the printer did not work properly. The scanner initially scanned in hieroglyphics, then not at all. The print function acted the same.
Summary: Back in the day, I swore by HP printers as the best in the business. That was then and this is now. I am about to turn this total piece of crap back into Best Buy under my service contract, after 14 months of poor service.
Summary: I wanted to be able to print from my iPad and IPhone and at the time there were only a few printers with airplay capability. This printer received good reviews from various websites including Amazon.
Summary: The picture quality is low. But that is minor to what I have been through. I have windows 7 home premium and tried 4 times to get this to install. First of all there are no instructions on how to load paper, photo tray, install cartridges. I managed to get that done with no help from HP.
