  • Summary: I like my printer, but it has a hard time picking up paper and photo paper to print. I haven't got the smaller photo paper try to work yet.

Eats Ink

JFredMuggs, Amazon
10 November 2012
  • Summary: Great quality printing, even on photos - but it goes through ink like you wouldn't believe. Can't even go through a ream (500 pages) without replacing the cartridges. Ink jets are like drug dealers with ink: the first ones are free.

"Probably won't buy another HP printer ."

  • Pros: Not bad for the price. Ease of use and installation.
  • Cons: Usual delay in startup and operation, but I expected that Having a problem with printing in fast draft and fast draft black/white. Several lines will turn out slanted/tilted to the left or right as if scrawled out by someone writing in a hurry.

"Very high quality prints and scans."

  • Pros: See my one line summary.
  • Cons: Agree with the reviewer; the touch screen is bothersome to me. For my home needs, I don't need a document feeder. I would not pay the asking price for it either, but Office Depot had a sell on them for $125 which I felt was quite good for it.

"Good features but some faults"

rolandk43, CNET
5 August 2011
  • Pros: A good array of features and a very clear touch screen. Printing speed is good and paper loading is easy. I connected to my iMac with no problems.
  • Cons: I felt the colors were too dark and there is a lack of controls to adjust color and density. The touch screen is "touchy" and I often activate something while trying to scroll, then have to start over.

"Annoying but it's reliable"

voidquest, CNET
29 July 2011
  • Pros: It hasn't broken down recently
  • Cons: Crappy touch screen and it's power supply blew up after a month but I was lucky that my old printer's power supply works with it.
