Excerpt: Doesn't have any good software to let you clean up photos, resizing, clearing red eye etc. For some reason, the printer decides to kick on by itself when I'm not even on the computer, or even in the room for that fact. It is a good quality printer though. I do like that.
Excerpt: Always had a HP printer and the last one broke in record time. Now (I don't know why) I have another one and it keeps flipping itself into pause and won't let ME unpause it. Just sits there until it wants to start working again. VERY exasperating.
Cons: Flimsy Construction, Slow Print Time, Too much ink used, Unreliable
Excerpt: If you want to print pictures buy this all-in-one, but if you do a lot of scanning like I do then I can't recommend this printer and here's the reason. Over half the time I put documents into the automatic feeder I have to push on them to get the paper to "catch" so it goes through the scanner. If I don't do this then it just continues to try to grab the paper and then errors.
Excerpt: I bought this about 3 weeks ago. I particularily wanted a duplex printer as I do many greeting cards. The one big drawback from my previous HP is the slowness of this printer. I sometimes think that it is not going to print, much slower than my last or any other printer I have owned. I found it difficult when printing envelopes that despite the correct configuring, they often came off-center. After much work I got that part to work better.
Excerpt: I have not printed photos yet so I can't give the printer 5 stars. Also I haven't been able to print a photo on plain paper. There doesn't seem to be a way to over-ride the printer's insistance on photo paper. I would recommend this printer with reservations.
Excerpt: I bought this printer to replace an HP 5280 that I had for at least 6 years. I've never had good luck with Epson so HP was my only choice. I got it home, unpacked, and set up relatively quickly. The Quick Start sheet was informative and easy to follow and my printer was working in no time. I'm not sure I like having 4 different printer cartridges, but I do like the wireless feature. I also like the large "screen".
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time
Excerpt: This printer is a slow starter as far as printing goes. Takes too long to begin the printing process. Once it is ready, it does a fair job, but the waiting is a problem. For each new job, there's a waiting period, so you think its not doing anything, so you sit and watch the little monitor.
