Summary: I am an experienced IT Professional I've had this printer about a year. I've had too have the print head replaced twice. (wasting lots of time on the phone with HP support) Printer also constantly loses Wi-Fi connection, go to print, get an error, printer unavailable. 5 minutes later, the page may/may not print. Worse HP product I've ever had. .
Summary: This printer has everything going for it on paper. Except the ink. That isn't going for this printer on paper, because it runs out too fast, and is stupid expensive for tiny little dollops of replacement ink. I know that printer ink in general is more expensive by volume than gas, blood, precious metals or weapons grade plutonium, but c'mon HP, at least let me print 10 or so pages before the black runs out..
Summary: Purchased one in Feb, 2014. Print head was bad so took back and got a replacement. Could not get printer to respond. Was on phone with HP tech support for a total of about 2 hours on 2 phone calls. If you want a printer that is hard to set up, has possible bad print head, make 2 trips to retailere to get replacement, endless frustration - this is the printer for you. I strongly suspect that HP knew they had a batch of defective print hears on this model.
Summary: I did not buy this printer. My old Hp was Goog, but it was older office jet and was not compatible with newest computer, don't know why, just would not communicate. So as a result of wasted tech time I purchased a canon. I did like the old HPThe best. I was surprised to see this review.
Excerpt: If you had to use this printer once, and then throw away... Then this is the printer for you. Bought it, didn't install for 3 weeks, once installed and used for two days, "Print Nozzles" needed to be cleaned, and then proceed to do a "printer alignment". Tried to return to Staples- but printer was 2 days outside of the their return policy. Called HP, apparently this is a standard procedure when changing the ink cartridges.
Summary: I like to print my own photos, but this printer drinks the ink! It doesn’t matter how you adjust the settings. This is my 4th printer from HP and each one is getting worse than the last. 6 months into it and I keep getting black lines across my photos. I won’t be purchasing HP any longer. I wish they had kept the one with the 02 cartridge.
Excerpt: We bought a 7520 at Staples to replace a much older All-in-one printer. The setup went fine until the part where you connect it to the wireless router. The printer could not detect any routers (not even the neighbors in the building). After spending an hour on the phone with HP support, it was decided we had a bad printer. Went to return it and get a different one. However, we had the same problem with the replacement. it will go back to the store tomorrow.
