Summary: The printhead went bad on this unit after printing less than 1,000 pages. The repair would cost more than a replacement as is was out of warranty by one year. HP printers are no longer the quality they used to be.
Summary: Replaced all cartridges (never counted) after 1st run of maybe 10 pic and 25 documents and I would say that on the high side and now after maybe 35 copies AND TWO PICS ink level low and black (big one) is completely dry. Yes they were HP cartridges.
Summary: This printer does a fine job printing...about 50 pages and then you are out of ink! I have purchased ink for this printer 3 times and have never gotten more than 50 pages out of it. I wish I had read the reviews first!!!
Summary: ...and I'm tempted to add 'or any other HP product'. Although the scanner still works and it will still print b/w (at the cost of about 1 euro per copy) the feeder in the photo paper tray has finally given up the ghost and the colour inks run out after about 15 photos. When I bought it about two years ago, I initially spent hours trying to get the thing to work before HP finally accepted that the print head was no good and sent me a new one.
Not user friendly at all. Has terrible scanning glitch. Expensive.

Summary: About 70% of the time this printer works well. Cons: 1) First off, this printer just eats ink. I have no idea where it all goes, but I could swear that the XL cartridge only last me about 20 copies; and I don't even print photos. That would put the price per page at about $3 per page. 2) The first problem I had was after trying to scan multiple documents with the auto-feed function.
Summary: My last HP pronter, a 6010 all-in-one laser printer purchased in 2003, was a reliable workhorse for 10 years, and the only reason I needed a new one was because the newest Mac OS doesnt support drivers for it. I bought this HP 7510 hoping that the HP reputation for quality continues. It does not. It has a decent scanner, the wireless connection is great, I never used the fax (who faxes anymore??) but lets face it, I needed a PRINTER.
Summary: Had this printer for almost two years now, and everything seems to be going bad on it. The Scan to Computer via WIFI function was the first to go. Second was the rest of the WIFI connection; my guess is trying to troubleshoot the first issue caused the rest to become fickle. HP's Print and Scan software is useless -- it says it can print fine at the exact same time I'm getting error messages. Last straw is that it won't take photo paper.
Summary: After 6 months of fighting with this printer, I have decided to throw the printer into the garbage(Literally). I could only get the printer to work onetime after each time I would re-installed the drivers. When I would go back to the printer the next day to print a new print job, I would get an error message saying that the printer was offline. I would then have to uninstall and re-install the drivers a second time.
