Summary: After about a year of use I am already shopping for replacement. As many reviewers said below - this printer eats cartriges like an eating machine. I do not print much - may be 20-30 pages a MONTH. And I am on my third XL set od cartridges.
Summary: Check out HP customer site before you buy. Can't believe the good reviews here and at BB. I wonder how many reviewers actually tried printing 4x6 from the photo tray from computer.
Pros: Nice features in theory. Easy setup and connection to wireless or USB (tried both). Local touch screen easy to navigate. Average color printing.
Cons: MAJOR - will not print 4x6 from the 4x6 photo paper tray from the computer (Win 7) - prints the 4x6 onto the letter tray instead. At least four other customers on HP site complained of same problem since Jan 2012, and still no fix from HP. Other problems - I did an download update from HP site, a...

Summary: Have had this printer since March 2012 and now it is a piece of junk. Copy doesn't work anymore...just scan. Black ink problem and have cleaned printer head multiple times and done alignment multiple times but still no printing on the copy mode.
Summary: Expensive printer! In a mere 2 months you will be replacing cartridges. I am correcting this post to say you Can print in Black only. From the reviewer Jack, I am posting his steps and they work. 1. On your computer, Click on Print. 2. Click Properties box. 3. Click on Paper/Quality tab. 4.
Summary: My retiree benefits are paid through HP so writing a poor review of one of their products is uncomfortable! After only three years of minimal use the printer ink cartridge something or other on my 6510 e-All-in-One stopped working. Replacement part $120.00. Cost to repair, I didn't check.
Summary: Unit made excellent prints but would not stay on. After 3 or 4 days the unit would shut of and all panel lights would flash on and off. I had to do a reset to bring it back to life. Tried two different circuits in the house and also plugged it into my UPS. Crazy.
Summary: worked OK for about a year, and then the black ink stopped working. HP only provides a 1 year warranty, and that means they won't even talk to you over the phone! They wanted me to pay $25 just to talk to tech support. That is ridiculous.
