Summary: If you plan to scan more than 1 page at a time don't buy this product. It only scans then emails 1 sheet at a time and sometimes takes forever for each sheet to finish scanning and emailing. It can take over 10 minutes just to scan 3-4 pages. Very frustrating, bc then you have to re-create the file if you plan to forward the combined scanned pages to someone. Other than this frustrating issue, the printer works fine. Nothing special.
Summary: Worked great until I installed new cartridges. all of a sudden the black stopped printing all together. To cut a long expensive story short . I had to change paper type to hp glossy photo for all sizes. Thne perfect quality . probably using alot more ink .... will be investing in anther printer with better reviews when these cartridges run out.
Summary: Prints clearly and lot of nice touch-screen features. Prints fast and nice wireless connection. CONS: From the looks of the reviews, I doubt people will purchase this anyway... but anyway.... Yes, printer jams a lot when there is really no reason to jam. Put paper in straight and flat and somehow it jams. Sometimes it sends a blank page through in the middle of printing for no apparent reason. Maybe the paper feeder is super sensitive, I don't know.
OK, but wireless is hit-or-miss; paper jams occasionally

Summary: This is an inexpensive printer, so you get what you pay for. The wireless connection drops frequently, despite the fact that the printer is 10 feet from the wireless router. Have to reset the printer and computer (mac) to get things to work again -- kind of defeats the purpose of quick printing. The paper jams occur about every 5 or 6 print jobs, and the little fold-out arm to catch the paper is very flimsy.
Summary: The good news - it is easy to use as a copy/scan/print documents. I haven't had any issues with that part of the printer at all. The bad news - Even though it is promoted for nicely printing pictures - doesn't even give a useable quality for a school project. I am a photographer and I did not get this printer for printing photos. However, in a pinch I decided to print a few for my son's school project - totally blown out images.
Summary: This is actually ny second HP5520. The first one died after less that a year of use, it indicated that it was low on ink, but after replacing the ink cartridges, it STILL failed to print. I'm hoping that this one will perform better!
