Excerpt: I'm usually very good at installing hardware but it was 3 days before this printer was set-up correctly. I could use it from my desktop but couldn't get the printer to work wirelessly. I eventually discovered (by accident) that I needed to use a password for my ROUTER, not the password for my WIFI network. Never found any documentation in print or online about this. I didn't even remember my router had a password! Seems to use ink more quickly than my other HP printer.
Excerpt: The printer is ok nothing special the print quality looks good, I have not printed photos yet so no comment on photo print quality. The printer feels fragile like it is easy to brake or damage. For the price,it was on sale, I think it will be a alright printer.
Excerpt: It took me 5 hours to set up. Never should have taken so long, if set up instructions were more clearly described with diagram explaining every step. I still have not been able to set it up on my computer. I have to use my old Photosmart Printer and my new printer on my I Pad. I would give my opinion to anyone that asks what printer to buy and would explain the reason not to buy this particular printer, unless they are willing to take unnecessary hours for set up.
Excerpt: I Had a great scanner, but when my printer broke down I was talked into this combo. It works alright as a printer, but the scanner leaves so much to be desired. I may have to hook up my old one and just use this as a copy machine and a printer, which works pretty well, although I haven't tried to use it on envelopes yet
Excerpt: I have always owned HP Printers for my photos. My hobby is photography and to get great quality pictures to print is a plus. I just bought this printer not even a year ago and it has been the worst printer I have ever owned for printing photos. It's great that it has wifi, anyone in the house can print, had no problems hooking everyone up.
