Summary: This is unquestionably the worst printer ever made. 1)It only prints PDF files one page at a time, unless you spend two hours on the internet figuring this out, change the settings to "images", and then, in no circumstance, will it print more than five pages. But even then, it will print them in the wrong order. Nothing changes this. (There are two possible page order settings, but it only prints them in one order, not matter which setting.
Summary: Had it a few months, have never been able to use it. It is either out of ink, or it gets lost (the printer literally loses its wireless connection and then doesn't reconnect without several restarts). The ink costs more than the printer and runs out after 3 or 4 full pages (2 if it's photo quality).
Summary: First one failed in 6 months. Wouldn't connect to anything. Warranty replacement stopped printing black after 13 months. HP's answer is to offer me a discount on another one. What a joke. From now on I will buy Epson.
Summary: Bought this printer over a year ago. Worked excellent. The installment was a piece of cake, and I loved how it was wireless. But...suddenly the printer wasn't printing black ink. I called HP and went through troubleshooting. Cleaned the printer head and everything else, replaced the cartridges...still, not printing. I called HP again, and it turns out the warranty was only good for one year, and sadly the warranty expired two months when I started having issues.
Summary: HP Photosmart 5514 e-All-in-One Printer (B111h), warranty expired 08/01/2013 stopped working 09/01/2013. Called HP explained only printed about 500 pages ... they said, "that happens" and tried to sell me a new one for $70. They on sale for $64 online.
Summary: This printer is awful. I haven't even had it for 2 years yet, and now it will not print black ink. I've tried every possible solution under the sun to fix this issue but nothing works. It is broken. The worst part is that I can't even get HP's input because they won't chat, email or speak to you over the phone unless you pay them $25.00. Not only that but I've struggled this entire time of having it because it eats ink like CRAZY. And I rarely print anything out.
Summary: I have VISTA and I'm having a lot of trouble with scanning. With my last HP printer all I did was hit scan and it came right up. This one I have to go thru a bunch of commands to get it to work without encrypting the text. I was told its because I use Google Chrome. Fortunately I don't do too much scanning, but it is quite frustrating when I do have to scan something. Regular and double sided printing are fine and I'm happy with that.
