Excerpt: I've had this multifunction printer for a few years now and it's great! I haven't had any problems with this machine at all. The only downside I see is that this machine eats up ink, as all inkjet printers do. I do hate how everytime you put in new ink cartridges, an ink alignment page has to print. Why does it have to waste ink right off the bat printing that page? What a waste.
Summary: Great printer for the price. Picture quality is great and fonts come out sharp and clear. I would recommend this printer. Only small drawbace is that it is a little noisy but the speed nis excellent for the money.
Summary: This was the first printer I have ever setup and I must say it was alot easier and faster than I expected. It walked me thru everything and was a cinch! Even the wireless feature was no problem. The only con I have found so far is the noise. But when you factor in the cost and quality of this printer the noise is easily overlooked.
Summary: I like this printer. The print and color quality is really quite good and the wireless feature is pretty cool. However, the paper get caught in the paper tray often which can be frustrating and the unit is extremely noisy. However, with the exception of these few anoiances, it really is a very good unit for the price.
Summary: This is a very good copier and works wirelessly. However, it takes a bit of setting up with each device you use. The prints are a lovely quality. Ink cartridges are relatively pricey and don't last very long because they are small.
Summary: This is really a fine little printer for home-use and its WIFI connectivity makes it easy to share around a few computers. HOWEVER ... when you change cartridges you are likely to get lots and lots of alignment messages! Very annoying and, in spite of being a known problem HP don't seem to have sorted this out. Suggestion to HP: Instead of low-ink warnings and alignment spam, have printer and alignment status information on the panel that opens each time you hit PRINT.
Excerpt: "...been a loyal user of HP printers for years, so the choice of the Photosmart 5510 was not difficult. Set-up was relatively easy and the print quality is perfectly acceptable. I wouldn't say it's lightning fast - there is a lot of clanking and whirring during the printing process. Paper jams are not a problem and the printer takes sticky address labels and card well. Scanning is easy and the software makes it simple to email scans. I have occasional ...
Pros: A simple, reliable printer that delivers good quality for the price .
Cons: Gets through print cartridges quite quickly and they aren't cheap
Summary: Have found this printer to be equal to any I have had over the last 25 years , originally only got this one because needed the eprinter option . Made it awesome in my eyes . Only comment can make is start up noise but bearable.
