Worked Well

Kevin E., Amazon
3 December 2008
  • Summary: Yeah, it worked well for about 2 years of low volume printing (maybe 100 sheets a month). I bought a 2 year extended warranty and right on cue it started vomiting on the 25th month. Actually the ink kept bleeding from the cartridges creating a big mess.

Geoffrey M. Voeth "DarkStar", Amazon
11 August 2007
  • Summary: This Is An OLD Review and may or may not be valid today: I Now Recommend that when you install the drivers for this machine you select custom installation and deselect all but the drivers then you should have the best results.

Not so great now that vista is here

Mark Kilczewski "Gentleman of Fortune", Amazon
23 February 2007
  • Summary: Had this machine for about a year, and honestly can say I haven't had the paper feed issues everyone is complaining aboot. My problem is that, as of today 2/23/2007, there are still no network drivers for Vista available for this machine.

It's not THAT bad...

Miss Monet, Amazon
16 December 2006
  • Summary: I've had this printer for almost a year now and I honestly don't think it's as bad as everyone is rating it. Everyone seems to be having paper troubles but I haven't had too many problems in that department. SOMETIMES it'll pick-up two pieces of paper instead of one, but not that often.

take a good look around before buying this one

Doc Dave "Doc Dave", Amazon
27 November 2006
  • Summary: Overall this machine does the job and seems reasonably priced. I have no problems with scanning and copying. When it comes to printing though, I think there have got to be better options available out there. I agree fully with those who've said they were frustrated with the poor paper handling.

Great printing...if you can get it to feed paper.

CTB, Amazon
12 August 2006
  • Summary: Much like the others, mine has stopped feeding paper. I have to push each sheet of paper into the machine to get it to work. I'm extremely happy with the printing and scanning abilities of the unit, but the paper feeder is not a good design.

Prints well, poor paper feed

D. R. Smith, Amazon
27 May 2006
  • Summary: I got this for Christmas and didn't use it much until it was too late to return. The printing quality is terrific, but I get paper jams and/or no paper alerts every time I use it. I have to gently press the paper while it's printing but if it's slightly too hard it jams. What a headache.

Great printer, horrible software problems

Regina C. Barry "color consultant", Amazon
15 March 2006
  • Summary: I am another who did not buy the 2575 from Amazon but also wish to warn potential buyers. As a standalone printer/copier it is fantastic! It does a great job on reproducing my fine line artwork and I have had no paper feed problems as of yet (kock on wood). I have even fed in 80lb.

I would not recommend this printer as i think there are better ones on the market.

gabby99_3, Dooyoo
22 October 2009
  • Excerpt: I have to say that one of the main things that i enjoy is the pop up screen where you can easily look at pictures that you wish to print from your camera or mobile phone. There is even the capability to add a screen saver which is a nice personal effect.
