Summary: Just spent hours getting this set up for a friend. Once we got it working it's a great printer, but if you are intending on using it with a USB connection, you might want to consider a different printer. We connected this to an HP Computer running windows 7. We tried to use the same USB Printer cable that we had been using to an HP Laserjet 3015 that was dying. This new printer kept telling use the cable was bad.

Summary: Seems to work well. One problem has been with the scanning to a computer. Seems like the printer goes to sleep and forgets the connections. Then it suggest to restart the printer, takes a while, then the connection might reconnect. Might not.
Summary: same issue, few computers connected to x576dw - some time it takes 15 min to print few page file - files just seating in a waiting queue for minutes ), same pc printing to our mfp lase brother printer 3 sec and page start printig. HP made a nice fast printer that useless in office/network environment.
Summary: We were happy with the speed of printing. Print quality was acceptable, not great. After about two weeks of low volume printing, the printer stopped printing with a message "Paper Jam". Followed the instructions to detect and clear the paper jam but there was no paper jam any where in the printer. The printer was bought from Staples who sent a technician to fix the problem. Technician also could not find jammed paper.
Summary: Overall, a pretty good printer. It's fast, print quality is good, it's quiet, and uses less power than my laser printer. I'm using the latest firmware (April 2014) but still occasionally experience a printer error where all the panel lights flash. Easy to fix by powering down and restarting. I recently tried to scan photos and found I could only set the resolution to 600 dpi.
