Not bad for refurbished

Stacia, Amazon
31 October 2012
  • Summary: I purchased a refurbished printer. It was a newer model of a printer I already own and love. This model was rough at first, constantly saying it had a paper jam. That eventually cleared up.

Good in optimum not in normal quality

Bigeyes, pcRUSH.com
3 March 2009
  • Summary: Comments about HP Officejet Pro L7780 Multifunction Printer: Scanner has very good quality. But whet you want to print a pdf it's like there's some parts missing. If you want to print something in normal paper in color the printer doesn't match the colors well.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Fast Operation
  • Cons: Noisy

Fax Issues

F. Cardwell, Amazon
18 December 2008
  • Summary: Purchased the HP Officejet Pro L7780 to replace similar Officejet that did not operate well when we purchased new computers with Windows Vista. The L7780 fax features are lacking -- no way to customize a cover sheet and no way to link to Outlook address book -- my previous HP Officejet had these...

25 May 2008
  • Summary: Comments about HP Officejet Pro L7780 Multifunction Printer: I do like all in one printers but I chose this model specifically for its extra paper tray which you can use for any special printing you require done such as letter heading etc…and have locked so that it is not accidentally used.
  • Pros: Durable Construction, Easy To Use
  • Cons: Locked printer tray

Fussy but worth the effort

Amazon Customer, Amazon
15 May 2008
  • Summary: The wireless networking is what attracted me to this printer and I am happy to say it is working like a charm -- now. But it can be a little tough to set up, especially if you have a Linksys router (and I imagine half the people in the world fall into that category).

Wireless Function is Problematic

A. WALLACE "AAW", Amazon
12 April 2008
  • Summary: Needed a replacement as the wireless function of the purchased unit failed to work. The wireless function is challenging when on different floor levels at home. It also has a difficult time managing print jobs on a busy wireless circuit, as it will stop in the middle of a print job.

29 March 2008
  • Summary: I brought this printer for the features - duplex, extra tray, wireless, document feeder. The duplex works really good. The extra paper tray is worthless - is doesn't recognize the extra tray.

Duplexing not the best...

Jason "Jason", Amazon
3 March 2008
  • Summary: One of the reasons I chose this model over others is for duplexing. As it turns out, this is not the printers strong point. I've had about 10% of the duplexing jobs jam, which is unexceptable.

The PROs rock, but the CONs are not minor

D. A. Adams "Alan", Amazon
29 January 2008
