I would not recommend any HP product due to the poor tech support ...

Summary: I have had this model printer for about 8 months, connected via eternet cable to a HP laptop PC and it has a HP pritner a service contract. Frequently, the PC fails to print stating that the printer is off-line, which it is not. Sometimes rebooting everything solves the problem, sometimes not.
Cons: Everything is a con with this trash printer. Sloooww printing, and I mean sllloooowwww. Constant paper jams! Sub-standard and confusing software (and I am a Comp-Sci grad). Oh and the "best" of all, you cannot print with only black ink if even 1 of the color cartridges is empty! So basically this...
Summary: I have had this printer now for about 14 months or so. I bought it at Staples. I just now had the need to copy 2 separate pages. I tapped 'Copy' on the touchscreen, loaded my document (no alignment markings) and hit copy. I pick B/W copy and after about 10-15 seconds I get a B/W copy.
Pros: I can't really think of any at the moment...
Cons: Disgustingly slow and buggy software on the printer. When powering on, it takes over 2 minutes to boot. Loses WIFI connection at times and/or it will not wake up when I print from across my WIFI network.
Summary: We are about to receive our 3'd unit after the first two broke. The first one stopped feeding paper after 19 sheets were printed. It just stopped picking up any type of paper from the tray. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure out what was wrong including a hour talking to HP support.
Summary: Nothing wrong as such with the printer. It is in the HP device monitor and HP drivers. They must be for another printer. It took me over 45 hours to set it up, and get it to work with all five of my computers. When I first got it I was on the phone with HP for 9 hours and got sent to 53 queues.
Cons: On February 6, 2014 I bought an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 all-in-one, including the OPTIONAL tray 2. I use it in my home office with five computers. One is a new Apple MacBook Pro OS 10.9.5, another is a three year old HP Laptop on Windows 7, and another is a five year old Dell Desktop still on Wind...
Cons: Only works a year then does nothing but make noises. Over the past 10 years I have had about 10 printers of various makes and models. They seem to know how to engineer these as cheap as possible but yet get them to last a year, which happens to be the warranty period. Coincidence? I think not. I ...
Summary: So sick of this crap that stops working as soon as the warranty runs out. There are many known issues with this model printer that HP refuses to stand up and fix. DOES ANYONE make a printer that actually lasts anymore?
DO NOT BUY!!! Biggest peice of trash I have ever owned!!!

Summary: Biggest piece of s*** that I have ever owned. Gave it one Star only because I had to. DO NOT BUY. Purchased two of them for our company after being told by different sells people how it was the best on on the market. I have not had them for 4-months and they both have quit working.
Excerpt: We use this machine for a very small office, so it gets used daily, but not a ton. We have had this machine for 1 year & 7 months & it already needs replaced. It consistently jams, doesn't scan properly & the fax works about 1 out of 4 times.
Summary: HATE THIS PRODUCT!!! I have lost so much productivity over the print cartridges WHICH ARE ASTRONOMICALLY expensive...and any of the recycled cartridges DO NOT WORK in this machine. If you use anything other than HP NEW ink..you get trash out of it and it flat out refuses to work.
