Summary: We purchased this printer after being told it was a cheaper alternative to replacing a colour laser. It is definitely not. It is slow and the colour printing is nowhere near the quality we had expected. We have an 8 year old Canon that does a better job for colour brochures etc. The fax and scanning features seem to work well though.
Summary: I bought this to replace an older model and chose it because of the front-load for envelopes...I do a lot a envelopes for a non-profit. Anyway, everything everyone said about it not playing well with Mac is true...it won't scan to my computer, it goes off line for no apparent reason and it is just not in tune with my Mac. Apple should NOT list this printer on their website. I have an Epson that is a dream...so I am buying another one for my office. No more HPs!
Summary: This printer has good features, fax, scanner, document feeder, duplexing, and color printing at an economically sustainable level. So far I have printed over 300 double sided sheets without a problem. I do have one concern.. When I printed business cards, I used colored, small scale fonts. They appeared a little blurry to the eye. I tried to fix the problem in various ways but nothing seemed to work.
Summary: this was my first wireless printer so the set up was a snap. Instructions were very clear free of problems. So far I've used the print, scan and Fax capabilities flawlessly. Ink is a little pricey but the reviews and the company literature both claim long life cartridges. Purchase was based on price and multiple capabilities so at this time I am pleased with my choice.
Summary: The quality of the print is good. It is a good printer and the ink lasts linger than the 5510 I had previously. The only complaint I have is that every time it goes to sleep you have to restart to print. All the other functions are still good. I have tried to resolve it and can't even find a setting to turn off sleep or change it. Big issue for a wireless printer.
