Summary: I have had this printer now for about 14 months or so. I bought it at Staples. I just now had the need to copy 2 separate pages. I tapped 'Copy' on the touchscreen, loaded my document (no alignment markings) and hit copy. I pick B/W copy and after about 10-15 seconds I get a B/W copy.
Pros: I can't really think of any at the moment...
Cons: Disgustingly slow and buggy software on the printer. When powering on, it takes over 2 minutes to boot. Loses WIFI connection at times and/or it will not wake up when I print from across my WIFI network.
Summary: Excellent printer in spite of it's great bulk. Be careful with paper jams, though, because the paper feeder is extremely delicate. I had two of these printers where the feeder got messed up when I tried to clean out a paper jam from the front.
Summary: Fist purchase one about 2 years ago. So impressed that we bought a second, then a third then a forth as we grew. I am a tech former tech professional who left a big company and started my own business.
Pros: price, quality of printing, overall cost of operation and easy functionality. Very easy to use....so easy with the LCD screen that I bought one for my 75 year old mom to use and she fax's and scans all the time!
Summary: Nothing wrong as such with the printer. It is in the HP device monitor and HP drivers. They must be for another printer. It took me over 45 hours to set it up, and get it to work with all five of my computers. When I first got it I was on the phone with HP for 9 hours and got sent to 53 queues.
Cons: On February 6, 2014 I bought an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 all-in-one, including the OPTIONAL tray 2. I use it in my home office with five computers. One is a new Apple MacBook Pro OS 10.9.5, another is a three year old HP Laptop on Windows 7, and another is a five year old Dell Desktop still on Wind...
Summary: Not the best printing quality, but very feature filled and can't be beat for the money. Some annoying features, most noticeably that the second paper tray can't be use for envelopes or non letter sized paper. The eprint App works sporadically, but the wireless all in one remote app is very valuable.
Summary: I love it, It can do so many things. So far I am still learning how to do some of the applications but I will learn. I am amazed by the front and back printing, that comes in so handy and saves paper and time.
Summary: Overall, it could be a great printer, when new. Prints well and has a lot of versatility. But don't expect to own one for a long time. They could use a little better build quality. If they built them better, even at a small price increase, it would be an attractive product.
Pros: Nice color printing Many functions
Cons: Poor software Reliability is a problem. They don't last very long. Tech support is marginal and they aren't anxious to honor their warranty. But they will, if you are persistent. Too much plastic
