Summary: I HAVE HAD A HP OFFICEJET PRO 8500A PLUS FOR 3 YEARS LOVE IT NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT HAVE PRINTED OVER 7000 PAGES WITH IT HUNDREDS OF FAXES TOUCH SCREEN WORKS GREAT OR YOU CAN JUST USE YOUR PC YOU CAN DO ANYTHING WITH IT SOUNDS LIKE A USER PROBLEM GOOD LUCK TO THE ONES HEAVING PROBLEMS HAVE A BLESSED DAY
Summary: My second 8500 from HP (the first was injured in a cross-country move, though it limped along for another year and a half before it need to be replaced). When purchased my first 8500 almost 4 years ago, I was skeptical about how long it would last. For the price, I found that it is by far the best you could get: it faxes, scans, prints (double-sided), and copies. For someone with a small home business, it is perfect.
Summary: This is an excellent "All in One" printer. The print speed is much better than most others. Quality is good as well. You have to hunt for this particular model as there are other HP "All in One's" that sound like this one but are not. This is my second one. The original is still inservice at my shop.
Summary: This printer is just great. Will do photos, large & small. Jams easy to remove. The all is copy, fax, scan, & print. Scanning on a Mac use the Apple preview program, not the HP program for best results. Printing with a Mac. HP has a Widget which indicates ink levels. Will print with Windows as well. (I have Windows installed on the Mac). Print quality: Almost as good as laser quality. With this product keep extra cartridges on. Especially Black & Yellow.
Summary: I use this printer at work and LOVE it. I wish I had it at home! Sometimes I make 50-300 copies of flyers, etc. at work and this does a great job. I love the option (like most printers have) of draft, normal, or best which adjusts the quality of print job. When I first started my job 1.5 years ago, we were paying top dollar for nice flyers and also for company letterhead.
Laser VS OfficeJet... HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A is MY choice!
16 September 2013
Summary: This is comparable to a laser printer for its speed (OK, so not quite as fast, but still...), as a matter of fact, running a business that requires a LOT of printing, for the money, this is by far MUCH better, since the ink is so much cheaper than toner for a laser printer. In addition, I also get color printing without having to spend a fortune!
