an expensive printer like this one is not reliable

Summary: I use mostly black and white but when I do use color, it is not even and a pain to deal with. Perhaps this printer had a defect but the support has not been helpful. I purchased it at Staples who is history now. This printer will not print black and white if one of the color cartridges are off.
Summary: I will NEVER buy another product from this incredibly greedy corporation. I have had this printer about five years and it is mediocre. It comes with a large paper tray but won't print unless that tray is nearly at capacity, so in reality you only get about 30 sheets before reloading.
Summary: Have now had this printer for about 3 years. I cancelled a print job mid print, and a plastic gear inside cracked. Apparently it is common for the plastic gear on this unit to break. Who would have thought that cancelling a print job would break a printer. Save your money and buy something else.
Summary: Unless you want to spend hours of your life troubleshooting, buying ink and cursing at a printer BUYER BEWARE. Summary: Broke after light use within a year of purchase. I also realized the inkjet on this unit cannot be refilled, and you must buy new ones every time you run out of ink and when I bought a new supply it wouldn't recognize it.There is limited, if no support, for mobile printing from iOS/Android and the...
Summary: It's so bad, the printing quality is not reliable. I just bought original HP Cartridge and it costed me 80€ and they are very bad. It takes long to start and has a bad endurance, it's a shame to sell bad quality objects like this....
Summary: Same comment as many. I was just forced to replace the Yellow cart before it would print, even though I selected "BLACK" copy. I have only printed in color three times so am doubtful the Yellow cart is actually empty.
The Worst Piece of Office Equipment I've Ever Owned.
23 April 2015
Summary: By far the worst piece of equipment in my office. My print volume is minimal, and it still seems I'm always replacing cartridges and waiting an hour (or two) for it to clean printheads and align itself.
