Summary: I have a long history of using HP printers. My best experience with HP printers has been with the HP Officejet G85 which I have had for about two decades. I have sewing machine oiled the steel bars sparingly every five years. I have disassembled the printer twice to empty the waste ink container.
Summary: A wonderful printer until it has problems. Call centers staffed by people with shaky English do not seem to remotely live up HP's former standards. I've bought HP printers for over 30 years at work and at home, in several countries.
Great except its need to clean printheads at inopportune times!

Summary: I think printer was a step-up from our former Brother printer that was a laser, IIR, and needed not only toner but a drum, which was so expensive. In that light, I was happy to have this light, quick HP.
Summary: trying the same thing over & expecting a different result. I own 4 hp 8500's. the same problem occurred in all of them. out of know where the colors fade or red becomes pink ect.... I bought 2 new & 2 from craigslist over the last 4 years.
Summary: I would have rated this printer higher if the paper handling had been reliable. Drawing paper from the tray often seemed quite low on this printer's priority list. This failure occurred often enough that I replaced it with a another All In One long before the end of its life.
Summary: The greatest feature of this printer for me, was the ability to scan in PDF format directly onto network shares. As a color printer it was fine, but over time began to streak. It uses way too much ink just booting.
