HP's Officejet Pro 8500 printer is a good office inkjet all-in-one alternative
3 February 2010
Summary: The HP Officejet Pro 8500 is one of the best office inkjet alternatives for under $350. Being feature packed, small businesses may be tempted to try this over the latest expensive laser printer.
Summary: The HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless makes a convincing inkjet argument for offices with a high volume of prints. With a function touchscreen, multiple networking options and an astoundingly fast print speed, it makes perfect sense to give this workhorse an Editors' Choice award.
Pros: Auto-duplexer, Automatic document feeder, Easy to use 3.4-inch LCD touchscreen, Painless 802.11b/g wireless set-up, Industry-leading print speeds, Excellent quality prints
Cons: Lacks autodial fax buttons, Bluetooth and a dual-paper input tray

Summary: I have been asked numerous times why the reviews of HP items suddenly stopped. The reason/excuse I was given by their then agency is too far fetched even to print. Now with a new agency I hope to be able to tell you about the current range of printers .
Excerpt: HP's Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless is far more expensive than the other inkjets here, but it's designed to compete with colour laser MFPs. It has a comprehensive web interface, automatic duplexer, 10/100 Ethernet, 802.11b/g wireless, a 250-sheet paper tray and a 3?in touch screen. It's the only inkjet here to provide a duty cycle figure; at 15,000 pages, it's on a par with more expensive laser printers.
