Summary: Finally, an ink-jet printer that isn't so thirsty. My previous MFP burned through ink-jet cartridges, and this model is much more efficient. Now, if only the printer had a manual tray feed, it would be perfect.
Summary: My computer runs Windows8 Ultimate 64-bit and I downloaded the latest driver from the HP web site. When printing a document of more than a few pages (my examples run 8 to 39), the driver errors out after about 7 pages. Trying to print duplex is just as bad.
Summary: Whoever designed this printer did not provide for easy printing of just one or two envelopes. If you're doing a large batch, it's great, but to switch from sheet to envelope printing, you must empty the paper tray, load the envelopes and adjust the paper retainers -- a pain in the butt.
Summary: Love the functionality of this printer and the speed is pretty good. The drivers are a bit clunky, but effective. The printing is a bit of a mess. You really do have to use the HP ColorLock paper to get any quality.
Excerpt: We had a problem with the initial set-up to get the drivers to install properly, but (ultimately) I was helped by HP Support and they corrected it. (It initially just installed the fax driver but not the regular printer drivers off the CD.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time
