So Far So Good for Me 2

Flave, Hewlett-Packard
24 June 2014
  • Summary: This printer is on the ball. Setup was easy. It took me a while to figure out the eprint feature but I finally got it. Changing of the ink cartridges couldn't be easier. Print time is speedy and the quality is good. So Far.

Not adequate for home photos

Alvin Burgemeister "Al B12", Amazon
15 June 2014
  • Summary: We bought this printer to replace an 8+ year old HP Photosmart 7960. Unfortunately, solid colors show inch-wide bands throughout. This may be adequate for color text and PowerPoint type graphics but didn't meet our needs for photo printing. We sent it back and replaced it with a Canon iP8720 Inkjet Photo Printer.

Excellent for Everyday Printing and Color Photos

Norman Marek, Amazon
8 June 2014
  • Summary: I researched printers for everyday use and for printing larger color photos. I didn't need an all-in-one printer and settled on this model after reading several positive reviews. The 251dw is wireless and automatically duplexes to save paper. Ink consumption has been very good so far. It does an excellent, high quality job on printing documents and, more importantly to me, prints very nice 8'X10" color photos.

Purchase Review

June A. Atwood, Amazon
29 April 2014
  • Summary: Nice printer. It does a good print job. Fast. However, by mistake I assumed it included a copy feature. Not so. Also, the envelope slot advertised is misleading. I still have to remove all the paper and position the envelope and return the paper after printing. The printer was delivered to an incorrect address on my street (you somehow managed to change my street # from 160 Miller Pointe Drive, W-S to 130 Miller Pointe Dr.) where an elderly handicapped man lives.

Simple Setup, Nice Print Quality

H. W. Richardson "Korban", Amazon
19 April 2014
  • Summary: My title says most of it. The setup was very straightforward. I have the printer plugged directly into our network which I access with my desktop via cable. Most of the other computers in the house access the printer with the Wi-Fi connection. All drivers were installed and even more incredibly - They all worked! First time, even. I couldn't be more satisfied with the setup. The printer itself is very sufficient for the job at hand here at the house.

This product needs work

Potter, Hewlett-Packard
13 April 2014
  • Summary: This printer is the second one I have purchased in just over a year. The first one I returned because it would not feed photo paper. HP tech support could not find out what was wrong. I thought I would give this new model a try. Very fast easy set up with my wireless network. Prints plain paper great. Will NOT feed photo paper. I only use HP Premium Plus Photo Paper. You would think that an HP printer would feed HP paper.

Hewlett Packard Inkjet Printers

Sandra Brooks, Amazon
12 April 2014
  • Summary: I was sick of printer/fax/scan machines that always seemed to reset themselves, so I got this printer only and love it. Once it starts printing it works quickly and efficiently.

Great Printer with Envelope Printing a Little Lacking

Randall W. Rasner, Amazon
20 March 2014
  • Summary: I guess I got spoiled by my earlier versions of HP deskjet printers. Printing an envelope was normally a breeze and my last one had a slot built into the top of the paper tray for the specific purpose of feeding the envelope for printing. This one requires the removal of the paper tray and maybe the paper first. I have tried 3 envelopes and all have failed miserably.
