Summary: The printer worked for a while, but then the HP software crapped out. You cannot reinstall it. The result is you can print (basic), but you cannot scan, fax or perform any other function. HP simply has no customer service. Don't believe me, look at their forums, which are loaded with this problem from 2009 onward.
Pros: Not Many, Replacing cartridge pretty much fixes print qulaity issues
Cons: Without Software It is WORTHLESS and there is no working software
Summary: First, I have to say that I've an HP printer enthusiast since the old HP 500 ink-series in the early 1990's. In fact, I have had an Officejet 7410 in my office for 8 years and it's still going strong.
Summary: It has caused nothing but trouble. It is a piece of junk. Very disappointed in HP. Copies okay but hard to print from the web. Have had this printer for 1 year and something is always wrong with it. Don't think of buying it.
Summary: DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR OVER THE PHONE TEC SUPPORT ONCE YOU HAVE OWNED THE HP PRODUCT FOR OVER 1 YEAR. I was just trying to update software for the HP printer to work with the new Lion OS Mac. The printer sucks anyway. $20 to update. They Do not Even Have a Update for my Printer Thats just a little over a year old. Lions been out a long time.
Summary: This printer did not work for the day I got it. I spent $60 on ink cartridges and purchased an owners manual. It was advertised as in working order. I was very disappointed. As a result, I will be more than cautious before I make any additional purchases.
Summary: Junk wireless, in a nutshell. This thing will blithely assure you, "You have SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED WIRELESS SETUP!!" and then simply not work through wifi, period. Even worse, since it's then tied into networking, it will make your PC boot up time around 12-15 minutes---totally unacceptable. It DOES work via USB connection, and that's how I have mine set up, I simply had to have a printer when I bought this one--I was replacing a Lexmark Dumpster-Ballast Xtreme.
Summary: This has got to be this biggest POS I have ever owned from HP. I've always had good results with HP faxes and printers, but this is the exception. I've had this one about 6 months, and have had nothing but problems with it. Let me explain: 1.) When feeding a document in to fax or copy it quite often fails to load correctly, requiring you to put it in and out several times until it senses a sucessful load. 2.
