Summary: The printer worked for a while, but then the HP software crapped out. You cannot reinstall it. The result is you can print (basic), but you cannot scan, fax or perform any other function. HP simply has no customer service. Don't believe me, look at their forums, which are loaded with this problem from 2009 onward.
Pros: Not Many, Replacing cartridge pretty much fixes print qulaity issues
Cons: Without Software It is WORTHLESS and there is no working software
Summary: Great printer, I have had good luck with it. A little over priced but works well. Has lots of features. my original printer had a problem so i was able to buy this machine and use it for spare parts.
Summary: It is very unfortunate I have not tried the item that i bought. I am somebody who do not have any idea about how to fix or connect and start a printer, as a result of that the printer has been sitting down there quietly without doing anything. I guess it will work good if I get somebody to connect it to my PC for me. And I'm very optimistic about that.
Summary: HP support is a huge plus. I've had printers where when things go wrong and its all down hill from there. This one seems to have lots of documentation on the web on how to fix common setup problems or other printing issues.
Pros: -Wireless feature is great, -Print quality is great when cartridges are full, -Can print good pictures on photo paper, -Fantastic HP support! Youtube videos show you how to setup/fix wireless setup. HP software has PDF to Text to Image conversion tools!
Cons: It could not successfully print my friends wedding invites, but the paper was much thicker than a normal office paper. Don't expect this printer to do fancy or exotic printing that kinkos would, it just gets the job done, which is perfect for me.
Gets the job done but takes a lot of effort to get there.

Excerpt: When I started college, I knew I'd need to have a good printer. I preferred one that did everything so I'd never have to go to the library or UPS to fax, print, or scan something. The HP OfficeJet J4680 All-In-One series is a nice, affordable printer. There are two models of this printer that are exactly the same, except one is wireless (connects to your network) and one is not. I chose the wireless one because I have a laptop that I don't keep near the printer.
Excerpt: I purchased the HP OfficeJet J4680 All in one Wireless printer as a second printer in our home about two years ago. I have owned the HP Officejet 5610 all in one printer for several years and love it. I needed a wireless all in one for newly acquired laptops. This is a satisfactory all in one. However I'm not as in love with it as I am my HP5610. I am a stay at home mom. I am comfortable with electronics but no guru.
Excerpt: over all I am satisfied with my hp officejet all in one inkjet printer, it prints efficiently. The print quality is good, however it seems to use a lot of ink. It was a little difficult to set up wirelessly with all of my devices, especially my mac electonics required additional support not from hp customer service support, but from apple support. The fax machine is the most reliable device in my opinion. It was very easy to set up and run.
Excerpt: the product is very satisfactory.the price is good considering the features.the small dimensions of the product is suitable for a small home office. the wireless feature is very useful for homes which makes use of portable devices such as laptops. the paper feeder sometimes jams. the automatic feeder for the scanner needs improvement.
Excerpt: Although many people may see this as not an amazing printer because it uses a good amount of ink, if you purchase your ink cartridges through online websites where you can get them for nearly 25% off, the ink is not an issue. The Scanner is easy to use and the price was very affordable. This wireless printer once connected to your network allows you to print from anywhere in your house and even my roommate was able to print on my wireless printer without issue.
Excerpt: I was given the HP OfficeJet J4680 All-In-One Wireless Inkjet Printer by a friend who didnt need it anymore. It is a fair printer. It does use a lot of ink. And I mean a lot of ink and the HP OfficeJet J4680 All-In-One Wireless Inkjet Printer is very sensitive to only being able to use genuine hp ink tanks. So if you do the math you will spend more on ink at an office supply store in one or two refills.
