For price paid, great value. Faxes and scans piles of sheets like a dream!

Summary: Very convenient reception of faxes. Got it for $18. This particular one, which was used, had a bit of solidified oil spilled on it, but after scraping it out with a napkin on the end of a toothpick, it only prints in light, ink-saving, draft-quality when gone unused for over a month. Sometimes won't allow PC to sleep, but better to keep it unplugged from laptop, anyway. When you know you're going to receive a fax, simply press the MODE button to change to Fax Mode.
Hp made it pretty but otherwise dropped the ball on this one folks.

Summary: As a product the item has some problems. It is very light, which makes it's operation somewhat abrupt. Even when operating correctly it jumps around somewhat and puts out more noise than would be expected. Also, it's scanner function can quit abruptly due to the routing of it's wiring is my suspicion. It is difficult to disassemble and repair on top of this.
Excerpt: This is a great printer for under $60.00. It copies, faxes, scans and has a phone built in. Only con is the way it is set up to scan. You can't lay it flat to scan, you have to feed it thru the paper holder.
Excerpt: I've been owning this item for about 1 year now and no technical problems so far. The only problem I don't really like is that ink is very expensive and this machine waste more ink than any other printer I have had in the past (about 200 pages per cartridge). Most printers I had in the paste waste 1 cartridge per 4-5 hundred pages.
HP Officejet all-in-one is a new purchase-space saving item

Excerpt: I have recently bought a new HP Officejet printer/fax/scanner/copier. I have not yet had opportunity to effectively use it, but with the reviews from ViewPoint, I believe I have made a worthy purchase. I will keep everyone informed as to how it works for me as time goes on. The viewpoints pros and cons have helped me to figure out wether or not I have made a quality purchase. Now the real test. I will use it and let you all know how I fare with it.
Excerpt: i have always had a different brand of printer , i absolutely love this printer , it is very easy on ink , i can print tons of recipes and coupons and still have tons of ink left .i will buy another hewlett packard officejet J3680 all in one printerif when i need another one. at first i couldn't figure out how to put in or take out the ink but once you figure this out it's easy.the ink for the printer is pretty inexpensive too , at staples it's 14.99 for black and 18.99...
Excerpt: I had the same printer (a Dell) for about 6 years, and it finally up and died on us. About 6 months ago, I took the plunge and invested in a new printer after much thought and research. This HP Officejet J3680 is great- it can print quality, but I can put it on its lowest, economical setting if need be (for coupons, forms, etc). My favorite part about this printer is that it is also a scanner and can be used as a fax.
I would not recommend HP J3680 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Excerpt: This product is great for scanning and faxing. Printing is not so good. Blue prints in pink even when the ink is full and it uses the ink very fast. I really would not recommend this product for printing, but it does scan beautifully.
The HP J3680 All-In-One Inkjet Printer is good for a home office
9 September 2012
Excerpt: When I decided to get a printer to use with my laptop I wanted a printer that would be compact and do all the office functions that I might need. I did not want several machines taking up alot of space on my desk. I went shopping for an all-in-one printer for my home office and the HP Officejet J3680 all-in-one was a good deal for the price. It faxes, scans, copies, prints and also has a phone handset ready to use. It has good print quality.
