Summary: I've had this printer for 12 years. I am so not computer literate, that it isn't funny. I set this up myself. Just followed the Quick Start Up. I started out with Windows XP or Vista (sorry can't remember which OS was first. I now have 8.1 and am on the quick deliver list for 10.
Summary: I found this sitting by the dumpster of my building, in the box to a newer printer inside were all the manuals and cables so I took it in. Turned out the ink was jammed and wouldn't budge. I did a hard reset and BAM it started moving right away.
Summary: I've had this same copier for 8+ years & just basically wore it out. I bought another even though I could have gotten a new more technically advanced model b/c I know how to use all the features on this one Arrived safely & in a timely manner.
Summary: I was a loyal HP consumer for decades. I have (now had) an OfficeJet 7210. I tried to have a color cartridge replaced within the warranty time printed on the back of the cartridge. The first customer service rep said he'd e-mail me info and did not.
Summary: HP Claims there are drivers built into mavericks, but OSX tells me they are not available and uses the generic PCL driver which has no color, but does support duplex. I discovered that if you add it manually with the Deskjet driver, you can get color, but no duplex. No other features are available.
Summary: Pros: A multi function printer Cons: Does everything, but evrything badly! Hard to operate Expensive Loud noise when operate Print quality is the worst I've ever seen, and the speed is even worse. You have been warned, don't buy this product!
