A Bargin but some care is needed for prolongued use
22 September 2014
Summary: Great for large presentations - just printing 4 or 5 prints more than pays for the cost of it - be careful of it - be careful to make sure the pages are clean of debris no creases, this isn't hard but as we are spoiled in the age of large capacity paper bins in printers this is a throw back and for the price its WAY MORE than a bargin
Excerpt: Was pleasantly surprised at the quality this reasonably-priced printer produces. We needed a color printer that could handle labels, card stock up to 110#, glossy photo and brochure papers, print up to 11x17, and was network ready. The tech adviser at Staples recommended the HP OfficeJet 7110 Wide Format after learning about our requirements and we couldn't be happier.
Summary: It is a pretty heavy unit. I was able to set it up within minutes with all three of my computers. PC, MAC and Chrome. I can even print from my iPad and iPhone. I will need to try it on photo paper in the near future as standard 11x17 just looks ok.
Summary: Printer was is a great product to print out high quality print jobs up to 11 x 17. The install was difficult, temperamental and needed to be done four times to get it correct even with the assistant of an HP level one tech support agent. Ink consumption of the supplied cartridges with the printer from the HP Home and Home Office store is discouraging. Even with normal default settings on text associated printouts in grey scale and color.
Excerpt: This printer set up easily and has performed well. It connected to our network with no problem. The need for a Wide Format printer made the selection of a printer limited to only a few brands. The HP Officejet 7110 has provided us with all the features we needed in our Survey office.
Summary: I purchased this to print some photos that I wanted to blow up on 13X19 paper, and what a great surprise. Everything prints very nice and crisp details. My workplace purchased a competitors brand, and I purchased this HP for large format printing the competitors was almost twice the cost and I can see no difference in print quality. I've been enlarging printable manuals on 11X17 paper, and printing banners.
