Excerpt: My old HP printer stopped working last week. I have a small business but we do a lot of billing. I didn't need an all in one printer but that seemed to be the best buy. The printer doesn't print envelopes! I read the on line help and it said it didn't print the self adhesive envelopes so I bought the old lick kind. That doesn't work either! Why have a printer if it doesn't print 1/2 of what I need it to print?!
Summary: I had a difficult time trying install this product. I still can't get my computer to print from the computer and my fax is not hooked up yet. Have to hire someone to come in and finish the installation. The disk would not download and I did not have the time to try to do it online. And every customer service rep was a foreigner and I could not understand their accents.
Excerpt: The one page "EAZY SET-UP" only took me two days. I had to buy a new router when the Officejet knocked ALL, 3 iPads, 2 iPhones and 1iMac off of my network. Subsequently required reprogramming all of the devices and then the Officejet quit flying and had to hook up with a cable to use this WIRELESS printer.
Excerpt: At first I was pleased with this product. The quality of scanned and printed images were very high. I also liked the convenience of having a wireless printer. However, when it was time to change the first ink cartridge I was very disappointed. Because of the printheads used, the printer will not even attempt to print if low on ink. If it is low on black ink, it won't print in color and vice versa. (i.e. If low on black, won't attempt to print font in navy.
Pros: good quality printing and scanning
Cons: will not print at all with low ink- no warning, must change cartridges very often, wastes ink since cartridges don't empty, occasionally disconnects from network
Excerpt: Not after having the product for one year, did I start to receive an error message on the computer and as well as the printer. It stated the printhead had failed or was missing. After trying to trouble shoot it myself from forum information, I finally gave in and called HP. No luck. Printer was shot.
