Summary: This printer shipped to me in 2 days even thought I asked for budget shipping. It is really easy to setup, and it works very well. Can print and scan from any network computers. The only thing missing is it is not WiFi printer. You must attach a network cable or use USB cable.
Summary: This is a great printer. I have no issues with it and am very happy with the speed, ink usage, and easy of set-up. The draft mode prints super fast and I have had it for over 3 months now and have had no issues with it.
Summary: Love the eprint center feature. Really is the best printer with the most features for the money. If anyone is having problems with it they either have a lemon or should be reviewing with a tech knowledge level of "low".
Pros: I have had this for about 3 months now. Thought I'd try printing from Google Docs since it said it was possible. Logged into my Google Docs account and uploaded a PDF to it. While viewing the PDF in Google Docs I select the "Share" drop down menu and choose "email as attachment". Google Docs requ...
Cons: Haven't found any. Its been living up to expectations so far.
Summary: To keep in touch with the ePrintCenter it is best to set printer to static IP in its network controls. I was also able to reserve it's IP on my WNR3500L router so it will always be at same location.
Pros: Love the ePrintCenter (the "if you can email it, you can print it" feature), always love the convenience of a network printer's access on the network (why spend extra for a printer w/ a 802.11), my last network printer was an old 2004 HP and the GUI accessed directly through the IP is improved by...
Cons: More complicated than a usb printer but still simpler than older network printers. It did come with a usb cable and a usb port, so guess you could still go that way with it. That's about the best I can do for a con.
Summary: I haven't tried the image-to-editable-text feature yet, but it looks pretty cool. Seemed like the perfect fit for my home office in terms of features, long term operational costs and initial price. Newegg sweetened the deal with a promo code.
Pros: Cost effective, feature rich, fairly easy to set up (network), looks pretty sharp, excellent print quality, shipped very quickly.
Cons: Doesn't come with Ethernet cable and I don't care for HP's custom software just to interface with the printer.
Summary: One of the best printers I have ever had. I am so glad I got this printer. It works with my iPhone, all computers and I have used the fax feature a few times. It is easy to use and interfaces with computer and internet - it has its own brain plus updates itself right on the internet.
Summary: Very pleased with the purchase of this machine.
Pros: The printer looks amazing sitting on my desk. The design is great, the touch panel is nice and modern and it simply looks like a great machine. I have installed this printer on a Mac, which is networked to a PC, and another Mac throughout the house. The installation and connection of this printer...
Cons: I haven't found any Cons at this time. It is NOT a wireless printer however I have a wired network throughout my home so it really wasn't necessary, so I knew this going into this purchase.
Summary: It is an excellent printer for the price I bought it for. The only problem was that I have a digital phone and could only get the fax to work if the phone wasn't plugged in. I can either use the phone or the fax.
