Summary: I love this printer. I've had it for just over 3 years - HP Officejet 6500A Plus. I had our IT guy come in to install it on the network. Pros - I'm finding that the number of scan capabilties that this machine offers & I've used so effortlessly - is not the norm for small scanners. It could be that having a professional work through the various configuration possibilities gave me a huge boost.
Summary: Kudos to HP on this printer it's simple to work in every way. Easy setup for wireless or wired now that they have come out with the XL ink cartridges, I'm a happy camper. Use to use Epsons. I've bought the HP8600 didn't find it near as hearty as this machine. Even have 2 HP7400 the inks a bit expensive but they both are still in use today.
Summary: This is a great all in one printer. It prints colors very clear. I've made greeting cards and they've come out beautifully. I love that it's wireless making printing from my laptop, iPhone and iPad seamless. I can scan numerous pages and have them saved on my laptop allowing me to either save the digital copy and trash the hard copy but most importantly for me is being able to email bank documents or articles to my kids who are away at college.
Summary: My used printer got here. The glass on which you place an item tobe scanned was broken, but considering the fact that I live in the boondocks! and he fact hat often carriers don't handle items as carefully as one would like! I as still satisfied. Yes, Icould have returned it, but I really really need to print a slew of things now. So I decided to keep it and take the panel off my existing but non-functioning HP6500 and put it in the printer that had the broken glass.
Summary: Love love LOVE this printer! I've had it for quite some time now and it's amazing. The only warning I have to give is - make sure you buy HP ink! I purchased remanufactured ink cartridges once and learned to never do it again. I love the eprint feature. That, combined with Google CloudPrint allow me to print from anywhere - even my phones and tablets. I did find that large print jobs made the printer "choke" a bit.
