Summary: First, it have served us for a few years now, so maybe it's not that bad after all, but still can't give it more than 3 stars. THE problem was the touch screen. It looked like as a nice idea but then stopped working.
Summary: Right off the bat the plus model of the 6500 has the duplex function which this does not so I'm disappointed. Plus the duplex attachment from mine which died does nothing with this unit which tells me that there's something withing the unit that is missing to enable the duplex function.
Summary: I have two of these printers and I was able switch them back and forth as needed if the one I was using stopped working. However, now neither one will work. The most reliable one will not print black. Does print the colors.
Summary: It's an ok priinter for light office work. I've been using this on my desk for 2 years and it's worked pretty well overall. I do not use the wireless or fax function so I cannot give an assessment on those feature. The only issue I have is the printhead.
Summary: I originally bought this for a small home office to fax, copy and print. I was able to work out a network connection using my router and the usb interface. On a mac network all computers are able to print. I never installed the packaged utilities, just the standard driver.
Summary: Do not like this version nearly as well as the version before this. Wireless doesn't ever want to work when I need it to and so it is wired all the time which is annoying since I bought it so I could use the port for something else.
