Cons: Will not work wirelessly. It continually loses the IP address. Slow, slow, slow! "Gyrates" endlessly before it will perform any function. Always says, "Printer is preparing..." Drinks ink like water.
Summary: I brought the HP Officejet 6500 All-in-One Inkjet Printer because I previously had one since 2008 and ultimately burned out the rollers on it since I print heavily. The one I recently purchased operates the same as my old one, but I think that the rollers will probably burned out as well based on the sound of it when it prints. For the price paid, I am satisfied; and it allows me to continue my production.
Excerpt: When my old all-in-one died I had high hopes for this one. Ordered from Amazon.com got a good price. It was not at all user-friendly to set up. I use printer for faxes, printing envelopes from Stamps.com and printing manufacturer's coupons. I was happy to see individual print cartridges, thought it would be cheaper but as others have said the original ink cartridges need to be replaced very quickly and of course they all need to be replaced at once. It ended up...
Excerpt: This is by far the fanciest printer I have ever owned so if you happen to be a little more advanced in the world of printing, this might not be the review for you. I have a little home based business and this printer is absolutely the handiest when it comes to all the little tasks I need to to perform. I like the print quality and speed, the scanner quality is great, it makes a fine fax machine and it copies without a problem.
Excerpt: Our old HP printer quit printing well and I needed something new. For about $100, I have a fabulous new printer that prints WIRELESSLY! What a concept! I can be on my laptop in the other room and print coupons or documents or even pictures! I love this printer. The only downside is that printer ink is just expensive. There is no way around it. The nice thing about the ink is that it comes in four separate small cartridges.
The HP Officejet wireless 6500 does an admirable job.

Excerpt: As a wireless printer, this product works fine, most of the time. The instructions for assembling the printer were easy to understand the pictures helped to make it a quick process. When powering on, the printer takes about two or three minutes before it is ready to use. As it sets itself, it is very noisy. Turning off the printer is the reverse of the powering on process.
