Summary: Here are a few things you may want to include in your product review: - Why you bought it: For parts. - What you like most about it: The parts I needed were still in the carcass. - What you dislike about it.: What's left ain't pretty, 'cause junk is junk! - Whether or not you would buy the product again: Really? My printer was restored to OEM standards, not souped up. I gave it 5 stars because I came out money ahead over buying the parts from HP.
Summary: Purchased this item for my parents. They had one like it before and when it broke they could not find another one. They don't know how to use e-bay (in their 80's & not much on learning new stuff). They were always complaing about the one they bought downtown and how it would not print pictures the way they wanted. I knew they liked this printer and how it works so i found it on e-bay and bought it for them.
VERY GOOD at what it does but lacks newer features. Good value at < $35

Summary: These were EXCELLENT printers a few years ago and are still VERY GOOD if you need a very dependable all in one that does everything well. Features like wireless or even network connectivity (without going through a computer) are absent but what it does, it does very well! If you can get one for $35 (shipping included) then you are getting a good deal. Check for local pick-up or craigs list before paying $20+ for shipping.
Summary: I love this product. now I can work at home and get a lot of things I had to go out and pay a lot to money to get accomplished at copy stores and making extra trips to work that I didn't get paid for...
Summary: I bought it because I had one just like it that broke and I didn't want to have to change the software, learn how to use a new one, and/or lose the use of ink cartridges I already had. The scanning feature isn't working but everything else works well.
Summary: This multifunction machine is very good. I have owned the same model for several years and been satisfied with it. I bought this one because the old one had a habit of stopping and complaining about things that weren't wrong with it. Since the warranty was up, HP wanted to charge me for tech support. Now, some would say, why get another one?
Summary: This unit gives the buyer a LOT for the money. New is less than $200. Used was around $75. Fax, print, copy and scan...everything your home office needs to function. I just bought another (used, as they dont make them anymore) as mine finally had an issue. The rollers wore out, but only after 6 years of pretty steady use. The other good thing, the ink cartridges that this unit uses are readily available and on the cheaper end of the spectrum.
Summary: This officejet printer does the all the jobs very well. I print lots of text and it works fast on black and white. The color prints are very good but take much longer. It is very dissappointing when ink runs out quickly. HP ink cartridges do not have much ink in them. The replacement cartridges last much longer. The printheads do require monthly cleanning if you print alot. The Fax is very good and easy to use. The same goes for the Flatbed Scanner.
Summary: I Have owned this all in one for 3 years and I have had nothing but Pleasure owning it with no problems whatsoever. I recently upgraded to Windows Vista and it works beautifully. One thing I really like about this model is that the ink isn't too expensive and when you buy new ink it is an all in one cartridge with new print head each time not like the newer ones where they are separate and you can have a lot of problems with the head unit which is very expensive.
