Summary: Had this printer for a few years no problems ever and the quality of prints and image scans were great. Just yesterday it started making a weird noise (perhaps printer head?) so I went to look at buying another one...the price is ALOT more than I paid 2 years ago!
Summary: Have had this printer for at least a couple of years. Still works great and no real issues, only that paper will not catch to load at times. Use only for document printing. The ink is too expensive to print photos at home.
Summary: Gift with great intentions. They thought the wireless feature was a great idea but I don't have a dependable wireless connection. As a connected printer it is busy but never actually printing. The paper requires constant attention, loading reloading, realigning and unjamming.
Summary: Worked well for a year or so, then a couple of days ago the black ink stopped printing. Just stopped. I tried EVERYTHING to fix it but I am convinced the printhead is now damaged and that means shipping it back to HP for an out of warranty repair.
Summary: Purchased for my daughter but I decided to keep it for myself and buy another one for my daughter. What a mistake. My daughter's printer failed after very light use and had numerous problems such as an inability to connect to her Mac via wireless. Now her printer does not work at all.
Summary: Had this printer less than two years. Black print head just stopped operating. Spent two days trying every repair "option" only to learn that it would need a new print head. Which the consumer is unable to replace. I am officially done with HP. Nice knowin' ya.... NOT!
