Summary: The HP OfficeJet 4500 Wireless is not exactly a speed demon, but for the price (I saw it as low as $129.99, and cheaper if you don't want wireless), it's a very good deal. For that price, built-in wireless, an automatic document feeder, fax, and (manual) duplex come as welcome surprises. Print quality for text documents was not the best I've seen, and duplex pages will bleed through, but color photos looked lush and wonderful.
Pros: Excellent photo quality, Easy to set up, built-in wireless networking, Very competitive price for an all-in-one
Cons: Some bleed-through with duplex pages, First page out is longer than average, No memory card compatibility
This mid-range HP small business printer has an integrated automatic document scanner

Summary: If you're a business user who wants a cheap option for scanning or copying multi-page documents -- and if you don't mind mediocre quality draft prints -- the HP Officejet 4500 is hard to fault. Its consumable costs are reasonable, installation is easy and maintenance is simple.
Pros: Useful 20-sheet automatic document feeder, fast monochrome A4 print speeds in draft mode
Cons: Slow colour and monochrome printing in regular quality print mode, no memory card ports, single-line screen doesn't display much information
Excerpt: HP's new Officejet 4500 Wireless is a business MFP with scanner, copier, fax and wireless networking capabilities. Better yet, it's cheaper than most comparable devices, temptingly priced at just £116. It's simple to set up via either a USB or wireless network connection. Although the MFP has just a two-line mono LCD screen, its presence means you don't need to plug the 4500 into a PC to configure it for your wireless network.
