Excerpt: I've only had this printer for about ten days, but so far I'm really happy I bought it. The one hitch I've had was some set up issues, and the feeder jammed when I placed a stack of papers in to be scanned but being able to scan multiple pages at once is nice. I will use it for business purposes. I printed a photo out the other day and it was mediocre, but in terms of having a workhorse for business, I'm optimistic this will do the trick nicely.
Excerpt: This printer definitely did not meet our needs or expectations. It is incredibly slow to print and copy and makes all sorts of loud noises. It runs a self-cleaning constantly, which is very loud. I could not find a way to change this in the settings menu. We ended up sending back after a few weeks and purchasing the next model up, The HP Laser Jet M570DN, which is so much better!
Excerpt: I just bought this all-in-one on 3/1/2014. Set up was easy, all wireless. I can print from my desktop and laptop and smart phone...wirelessly. Print quality is great, even on photos. I was tired of replacing dried out ink cartridges so I went with laser which used toner that won't dry out. Scanner works great, copier works great. It prints fast. It is not that loud...of course it makes noise, but acceptable. It is not small so make sure you have the room for it.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time
Excerpt: This laser all-in-one was super easy to install over my wi-fi network. It replaced two other printers, freeing up workspace in my office. It also allows wireless printing through the HP eprint app. Print is very vivid, and the scan and fax functions are easy to use. Print cartridges, while mroe expensive than ink-jet inks, are still elss expensive than prior HP laser models. The full printer manual is downloadable from HP.
Pros: Compact Design, Durable construction, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Reliable
Excerpt: This printer worked great right out of the box. Setup was intuitive and quick. The setup software found the printer automatically on my wireless network. The keypad is easy to use. Photos look great for the given dpi. Documents from a thumb drive are easy to print.
Excerpt: This is a great machine. The performance and feature set meets all my needs. From an improvement perspective the installation could be both faster and simpler. Lifting the unit from the box is just too hard so I tore off the end of the box and slid the unit out. There should be an internet set up as I had to buy a DVD player to be able to use the install CD.
Excerpt: We had issues with the (expensive) toner cartridges in terms of dropping ink splotches on the paper. Then when the warranty ran out we started getting gray splotches all over the BACK of the documents too. HP would not help and said we needed a new internal plastic roller. It's only 13 months old and only used at quarter end.
Excerpt: This is the worst expensive printer I've ever had. The USB connection to the computer is VERY fussy. Have to unplug and re-plug all the time to get it to recognize the connection. Scanning setup is VERY difficult. Haven't been able to scan with it yet, nor email a scanned file. Can't scan to USB port--doesn't recognize it when a thumb drive is in USB port. Very dissatisfied with this expensive printer.
Cons: Hard Setup, Hard To Use, Resets Itself To Offline, Scan Setup Very Difficult, Usb Port Not Reliable
