Annoying wireless setup. You'll need magic to make it work.

Summary: Good luck trying to set put the wireless option. I had an old usb cable from my old printer that I used to print b/c I couldn't figure out the wireless option - but then, printing with the cable stopped working so now I can't use the printer.
Excerpt: This printer prints a clean print....that is when you get it to print. It says it works on a network but not only does it not work on the network, ie other computers cannot communicate with it, the computer it is connected to is generally unable to print on it also.
If not for a weak, soon-to-stop working auto doc feeder, this is a great machine in all respects

Summary: Great machine in all respects. Easy to set up. Easy to change the toner. Lightweight. It's a workhorse. We have 5 of these at work. They're much less expensive than many others with the same functions, and makes copies/scans and prints plenty fast enough.
you must purchase a separate line just for this piece of garbage.

Summary: Just another piece of junk from HP. Stopped working all together after one year. I cant scan nor print. After FIVE HOURS trying to get this thing to work, I give up. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no help. HP has a few links to customer support...they go to pages that do not exist.
Summary: I bought one of these "multifunction" units a couple years ago, and as a "multifunction" unit, it makes an expensive printer. 1. You might as well tear off the ADF and send it back to HP--it does not work. You can use the flatbed for copying and scanning, though!! Big fun!! 2.
Summary: Third unit of same model with mispick error. They all seem to fail right after the warranty expires.. Someone should file a class action suit against HP for this notorious fail. The only reason I keep buying this models because I have a dozen toner cartridges for it and the printer is pretty cheap...
Excerpt: However, Office Depot is sending a new one and will pick-up the defective printer. We did have to pay for the second, though, instead of just an exchange (As I understood from the CS associate).
Summary: Packing this up, returning it, and buying a Lexmark. This will be my last HP product after several years of putting up with declining quality and tempermental junk.
Pros: Um, it was recognized quickly when I plugged it into my LAN?
Cons: 1. This device is nothing more than a dumb printer to a Windows Server machine, despite what is said by HP employees in HP's support forums and what is suggested by the fact that it lets you download a "full featured driver package" after selecting Windows Server as your OS (the consumer-grade HP...
Excerpt: This printed stopped working after 6 months.Still under warranty. It has been 4 weeks and 5 one hour phone calls to HP tech support and they have not done anything about it. I am extremely disappointed in HP. Never buying another HP.
Excerpt: I bought this machine and so far I've contacted HP 3 times for support. If you like waiting for 20 minutes waiting to talk to tech support then this machine is for you! They need to do more product testing before they put it in the stores.
