Summary: We are using this printer as a copier in a small office. It replaced a Canon printer of similar size. The HP functions properly, copies are of decent quality, but it is painfully slow. Making multiple copies of the same page is faster, but getting the first one is a slow process. Making one copy of several pages requires a great deal of patience.
Summary: The scanner jams a lot when trying to scan even only one page. The jamming was so annoying that I have stopped using it as a scanner. Printing is acceptable. The unit is connected to my laptop and used by 1 person. It is not as well made as my former HP printers. I would not recommend buying this machine.
Summary: this replaced a hp all-in-one laser i have for years...smaller footprint, faster production, and not only do i not have to use a print server for wireless printing (because it has an ethernet port), i can print off my note 4 cell phone too...sweet! no issues with setup; i just put in the driver disk and got it up and running.
Summary: Even though the printer is exactly what I was looking for to complete my new office set up, I have had no success in getting the printer to do what I want. I have attempted to scan and copy manuals and other items I believe will help me to learn some of the programs and equipment that are very new to me. At first every operation I asked the printer to accomplish worked exactly as I expected.
Summary: Use this machine every day, several times a day for printing and scanning. Wakes up fast, not too loud, fast print, easy set up. Not sure how long the cartridges last since I'm still on the first one but already has been less expensive than what I've spent on the ink cartridges for my other machines.
