Prints beautifully. Too bad the scanner / copy function broke ...
16 July 2014
Summary: Prints beautifully. Too bad the scanner / copy function broke within a week of the warranty's expiration date. I had scanned / copied fewer than ten times, and the arm with the camera function is busted.
Summary: One would not expect a machine this size to be so noisey, but it is. The feeder is slow to respond and even though i've yet to time the PPM it's no where near what I would have expected based on the information provided.
Summary: Document feeder works intermittently, pulls brand new paper with no issues at an angle, software is crummy. It has one license and does not work well at all, tries to OCR everything even when you tell it not to. I use a free scanning program that works better.
Summary: I am revising my review because I simply hate the feeder. I purchased this unit because it had the feeder verses a cheaper model but most times the feeder doesn't pull in the paper or gets jammed and I end up putting each page on the glass just to get the files scanned.
Summary: Unable to scan documents on my iMac system. Major reason for purchase. Fine as a printer, have not attempted to fax. Will be replacing shortly with a fully Apple compatible printer. Researching options. The seller, PC-Rush, was outstanding.
Summary: I bought this printer for my home office. I bought it because of the price and the ability to AirPrint from my iPhone. Unfortunately, I do a lot of scanning. This printer does not allow you to configure the compression settings and therefor you have no control over file size.
Adequate printer but constant MISFEED problems with multi pages
16 March 2012
Summary: I bought this printer a month ago. I had problems connecting with my WiFi until a friend fixed the problem. It's great for printing. Faxing or scanning or copying one page is great on the flatbed. However the feeder is horrible.
Summary: I'm a reasonably tech-savvy person and it took over 2 hours for me to configure this printer to work wirelessly with Mac Lion. The documentation was either missing or quite simply wrong (referring, for example, to configuration utilities that don't exist).
Summary: Others have reported that setting up this printer for Mac OSX 10.7 (Lion) is incredibly and unacceptably troublesome -- they're right. The printer, once set up, is fine. Print speed and quality are both good, although the printer is fairly loud.
