Will Never Buy From Amazon Third Party Sellers Again, Amazon
15 May 2015
Summary: In this day and age, any printer/copier/fax that cannot hold a full ream of paper in the tray is poorly designed. This printer should be taken out to a field and destroyed, Office Space style.
Summary: There is a new touch screen model that is better. This is harder for a novice to scan from. you have to use the Scan feature on the CD provided or on software within your operating system,. not a good push button scan to feature available here.
Summary: This printer is a disaster. No matter how many times I install new drivers or try to update the software it fails to connect after a single use. The scan function routine gives a "fail to connect to scanner" error message. Luckily I received this for free from work.
My second HP printer is yet another disappointment

Summary: Print quality was fine. Scanning was awkward, but it worked. But I got constant, cryptic error messages, so I would just keep hitting "OK" and it would eventually work. That was annoying, but I could live with it.
Summary: Decent quality laser printer and scanner, but the ADF (automatic document feeder) is a weak point. After about a year and a half, it would stop scanning and indicate an ADF jam for no reason. No amount of troubleshooting tips from the user guide had any effect.
Summary: I've purchased a few of these for our workplace and what I've found is that sometimes they work fine and sometimes they don't work at all. You can't install just the driver for them, either. They will not respond unless you install all the junkware from HP, nor does HP provide a standalone driver.
Summary: We bought this printer for our HR department. After as little as 30 days of use and 40% of the toner left the printer started to leave streaks of the page faded\unprinted. Taking the toner cartridge out and putting back in would fix it for 20 more pages then it would occur again.
Summary: Apparently there is an issue with the scanning software with this all-in-one; any time I scan to a pdf the size of the document is 3'x4' and there doesn't seem to be any way to change this! I've had to download another scan-to-PDF program as a work around which is ridiculous.
