Summary: It prints OK - as expected. It also goes into a diagnostics and reset mode every day, a few hours after I first print. That amounts to about 3 minutes of noisy activity during which time I have to relocate if I'm on the phone. It also has resisted all efforts to print a letter sized envelope.
Summary: It is NOT an automatic two-sided printing machine. It uses up too much ink comparing to my old laserjet! The paper tray is too small for a machine this size! I have to add paper all the time even though I use it lightly.
There was a time HP provided reliable and cost effective technology solutions.

Summary: This is a good printer, but it has it's problems. Two weeks into ownership, the auto-feed began jamming more and more. So much so, that we just gave up on it. We contacted HP - horrible experience and no real solution - return and replace to retailer was their solution.
Summary: Does not print envelopes. This worked great for the first year. Then all of a sudden it stopped printing envelopes. Now it won't print them all, regardless of the envelope size or efforts to reconfigure settings. I am very disappointed with this product.
I would give it 5 stars if it did not require that I reboot it between prints. Help!

Summary: It worked great for over 6 months. I used replacement toner for a while then went back to HP because it would not clean properly (left ghosting). Now it will print only if I load a print cue (but not start it), reboot the printer, and release the cue just after it starts booting up.
Summary: We went to a laser printer for our home office business we have owned and operated for over 20 yrs. The laser cartridges is by far superior to ink jet, but the attributes of this particular printer leave a lot to be desired. The speed of simple documents is pitiful.
Summary: Its slow to print the first page due to warm up time but the ink is really expensive and it runs out quickly. I estimated that per page cost for full color page is $0.45/per copy. You can get color copies cheaper at local print shop.
