Summary: Opted to purchase the model that requires a cable connection due to price considerations. However, with the proper connection, I have no problem printing wirelessly from my laptop in another room. Very satisfied so far. Would highly recommend.
Summary: Good customer support. The screen flops down whenever you press buttons - wish it could lock in place better. Love the wireless capabilities - works well for both PC and Mac. VERY fast and easy to use. Would buy again. May prop a piece of wood under the screen to hold it in place.
Summary: Great workhorse with some quirks. It has a wonderful power saving option to allow it 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours. But most businesses are open roughly 9 hours a day (8-5/9-6). So our evening reports sit in limbo a half hour before the end of our work day because it has cycled off. You have to wait almost 2 minutes for it to power up so it can print the reports - HOPEFULLY - still floating around in our Ethernet.
Excerpt: We have about 4 printers and two scanners in our office. I needed a small mfp for my personal use in the office. The machine has all the features of one of those expense machines for a fraction of the cost. I use the machine for small jobs so that I do not interfere with the normal operations of our business. The machines operates efficiently and preforms all tasks as show on the specs. Great machines for the price.
Summary: Overall a good all in one. The on;y drawback is the touch pad. It is cumbersome to use especially when used for high volume faxing. I have this printer in my office and mostly use it for faxing. Dialing is not as easy since it ends up missing a number if you don't pres the screen hard enough. HP could have opted for the old fashion keypads or make a touch pad that is as user friendly as the iphone. Hey HP, time to rethink to maybe base future design on apple efficiency.
Summary: This printer gave us some problems initially but they have been resolved with a call to HP. It would get stuck in sleep mode and we would have to restart the printer in order for it do anything. Even the touchscreen on the printer would be unresponsive. We lived with it for awhile but eventually got fed up with it and called HP. We should have called sooner because all we had to do was a factory reset and it was good to go.
