Summary: I bought the HP 200 MFP to replace an inkjet MFP whose cartridges would dry out too quickly. And this is a pretty nice printer. Good quality, lots of features, can save to network shares, has WiFi and a 10/100 NIC. But... There's something wrong with the NIC. On power-up, it doesn't recognize being plugged in. Reconfiguring it so it has to reinitialize the NIC usually works, or sometimes unplugging/replugging it, but not reliably.
Pros: Fast Great Print Quality Quiet Good Sheet Feeder for Copying
Cons: A bit finicky to set up No duplex printing (single sided only) Sheet feeder not duplex either (not really an issue at this price) Worst internal NIC ever! No manual envelope feed.
Summary: If you like a complicated product, this is the copier for you. It is a well built copier, but I have some problem with the fact that it has a 300 page manual, implying lots of features and accompanying complication. In this fast paced world I like things that are based on KISS not complication. Otherwise, the machine performs well. Oh the other new feature I don't really understand is why it is a good idea to connect it to the internet.
Summary: This printer is supposed to fax and scan, but what you're not told is that you must belong to a network to use those features. There is no mention of this fact on the box. HP does not have a laser printer with the capabilities I need. Definitely a waste of money.
Summary: I had owned this machine for 2 years without problems. Then one day after turning machine "On", all I got was a blank screen. A phone call to HP Tech Support resulted in multiple attempts to diagnose and resolve the problem, Alas, no luck correcting the malfunction. The Tech Support, told me the "hard drive is ruined. Since it is out of warranty we can't replace it for free but we can sell you a new one for a discounted price".
Anything with graphics takes over an hour to print.

Summary: I purchased this item to print many color pages for my classroom. Let me first start by saying that I am also my school's Chief Technology Coordinator, so I know what I am talking about. I have a Mac computer, and was able to set up the connections for USB and Wifi (through IP address) very quickly. It was effortless and pretty quick. However, ANYTHING WITH GRAPHICS, especially in PDF form prints SO SLOW!
Excerpt: I just buy another same model printer again last week. One and half year ago, I bought one. I didn't print too much (total less than 400 pages), because most of time I will print out in my office. It started paper jam that let me open the rear door to check. I didn't find any paper jammed. Then I turned off the printer, and restarted. After printed one paper, some problem again. I cleaned and cleaned. but it still not work.
Excerpt: This printer was easy to install. It is also easy to use the print feature, copy feature, scan feature and Fax feature. The copy quality is good. This copier is a wireless operated copier and I have been having trouble with it losing a connection to my computer. I use a Mini Mac desk top and almost everyday I have to reset the IP address so that I can print from my computer. This printer is not compatible with an android supported tablet we use here at our business.
